SLEF Announces 2024 Grant Recipients Totaling $12,537 in Donations to Fulfill Teacher Initatives.
The Southern Lehigh Education Foundation (SLEF) was pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Teacher Innovation Grants. In total, SLEF approved $12,537.99 in grants to teachers across four of the Southern Lehigh SD schools.
After a review of applications submitted to the district, six grant proposals were selected to receive funding for innovative and enhanced educational programs for SLSD students. Teachers across SLSD were encouraged to submit their proposals to the District Office to be reviewed. Grants were approved for projects ranging from STEM based initiatives to learning products and equiptment outside of the current curriculum and budgets. Many of these initiatives will be used as pilot programs for the district helping students not only in their own classroom but also school-wide across the district.
These grants were made possible by the generous donations of community members hoping to help improve the SLSD experience. Thank you to all of those who have graciously donated and support the SLEF efforts!
Please take a minute and congratulate these teachers - we cannot wait to see your ideas in action!
