Supporting a Brighter Future for Southern Lehigh SD
The mission of the Southern Lehigh Education Foundation (SLEF) is to help enrich the educational environment, provide innovative learning opportunities, and forge a deeper educational experience for all students of Southern Lehigh School District through creative, supplemental funding.
Founded in 2005, The Southern Lehigh Education Foundation (SLEF) is a non-partisan 501 (c)3 volunteer organization created to enhance the educational opportunities of students enrolled in Southern Lehigh School District. In 2023, post the Covid-19 pandemic uncertainty, SLEF was reinstated with the voting of a new executive board as well as a renewed focus on achievable initiatives.
Through the creative use of community partnerships, government grants and generous donations from individuals and alumni, SLEF works closely with the Southern Lehigh administration and school board to help supplement and initiate innovative opportunities for its students.

Current Initiatives
SLEF works hard to identify areas of need within SLSD where funding could be supplemented. This could be spearheading a major project or by providing assistance to enhance areas with limited budget funds. Our top initiatives each year are selected by working closely with the students, staff and district administration at SLSD.
